Former Ohio State WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba's Top 5 Greatest Games as a Buckeye

Super Bowl LX is right around the corner, and the Ohio State Buckeyes are going to be decently represented inside the white lines on Sunday.

Visit milkshakeslot.lat for more information.

On one side, it will be future star running back TreVeyon Henderson, and on the other side will be the Offensive Player of the Year in Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

Smith-Njigba has been all over the news lately, and it had me thinking about his best games as a Buckeye. His career ended in such a way, with his last season being lost due to a nagging hamstring injury, that many forget how electric JSN actually was. We look back at his Top-5 Games as a Buckeye.

10 Catches | 105 Yards | 1 TD vs. Michigan State

The Buckeyes were rolling through their schedule after a week two loss to the Oregon Ducks earlier in the season. They went through the middle part of their Big Ten schedule with some weird wins, and they found themselves in a trap game before The Game. It was hardly a trap game as the Buckeyes came out and demolished the Spartans from snap one till 0:00s.

JSN got off for 10 catches for 105 yards and a score against Spartans. Ohio State took a 49-0 lead into halftime and showed the country its dominance, if only for a week.

Ohio State Has HUGE Week: React to the Arthur Smith Hire and Examine the Buckeyes' Crazy ScheduleThe Ohio State Buckeyes made big waves to start the week with the signing of Arthur Smith as their offensive coordinator in a move that surprised a ton of pe...9 Catches | 139 Yards | 1 TD vs. Purdue

Oh man, JSN was on a hot streak to end the 2021 season. He had eight straight games of 5-plus catches and 97-plus yards. This game against Purdue was one of his best as he again proved that he was unguardable.

Smith-Njigba was having these numbers and this type of production with Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson on the roster alongside him. This might have been Ohio State's best offensive team in recent history, and he was at the center of it. Nine for 139 and one en route to a 59-31 victory.

7 Catches | 145 Yards | 2 Touchdowns vs. Oregon

Ohio State welcomed the Oregon Ducks to Columbus and was met with a bit of a rude awakening. Oregon came in and matched Ohio State punch for punch and outdueled JSN on one of those types of days.

Smith-Njigba was unguardable against one of the best teams in America, but this was the first time this year that Ohio State's defense proved to be an absolute liability and ultimately the downfall of their team.

15 Catches | 347 Yards | 3 (!) Touchdowns vs. Utah

Tricked you! You definitely thought this was going to be his No. 1 game, and it probably should be, but there is a performance out there that was better and was more important. This game was off the charts.

Both Olave and Wilson decided to sit out to prepare for the NFL Draft, so it was just CJ Stroud and JSN making plays, and plays were made.

Unguardable, unstoppable, uncontainable, special. However you want to slice it, you were right. This, unfortunately, meaningless game, was Smith-Njigba's best statistical performance.

15 Catches | 240 Yards | 1 Touchdown vs. Nebraska

The Buckeyes squared off with the 3-6 Nebraska Cornhuskers in an admittedly tough place to play - Lincoln, Nebraska. Ohio State was a huge favorite and unfortunately, sleptwalked their way into this matchup.

They were up 17-10 at halftime and just 23-17 heading into the fourth quarter. Had it not been for Smith-Njigba's ridiculous performance, this could have been a very very bad loss.

For that reason, this is my No. 1 JSN performance as a Buckeye.
