The Philadelphia 76ers have proven many times in the past that they wouldn’t be hesitant to reward a two-way player with a standard deal. Dominick Barlow is the latest member of the team to find that out.

Following the 2026 NBA trade deadline, the Sixers made the expected move to put a standard offer on the table for the young forward. As expected, Barlow agreed, allowing him to play out the remainder of the 2025-2026 season with the 76ers.

Key Contract Details Revealed

According to Spotrac, the Sixers have signed Barlow to a two-year deal. For the 2025-2026 season, Barlow will make $3.4 million. He is not guaranteed to remain with the Sixers beyond 2026.

By June 29, the Sixers will have to make a decision on Barlow’s future with a team option. The salary in play would be set at a reported $3.4 million.

This year, Barlow has appeared in 41 games for Philly, starting in 34 of those games. Seeing the court for 24.0 minutes per game, the veteran forward has posted averages of 8.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 1.2 assists. He’s making 55 percent of his shots from the field, taking 6.0 attempts per game.

Barlow entered the league in 2022 as an undrafted prospect out of the Overtime program. He started with the San Antonio Spurs and had a stint with the Atlanta Hawks in 2024-2025. During three seasons across those clubs, Barlow appeared in 96 games. He averaged just 12.5 minutes on the court, producing 4.2 points per game and 3.1 rebounds per game.

As the Sixers continue to make a push for the playoffs after missing the postseason last year, Barlow will certainly continue playing an important role for the team. Heading into Saturday’s action, the Sixers are 29-22 on the year, placing sixth in the Eastern Conference. They are one game behind the Toronto Raptors, and have a comfortable 2.5 game cushion over the Orlando Magic

Barlow and the Sixers will play in their second matchup since the deadline on Saturday night. They are paying a visit to the Phoenix Suns for a 9 PM ET tip.
