What Color Gatorade Was Dumped on the Winning Coach at Super Bowl 60?

· Yahoo Sports

Gatorade rose to prominence in the early 1990s due, in part, to a commercial titled “Be Like Mike,” featuring Michael Jordan. A quarter of a century later, two coaches named Mike are facing off on the Super Bowl stage, and there’s a great chance one of them winds up being drenched in Gatorade tonight.

Either the Seahawks’ Mike Macdonald or the Patriots’ Mike Vrabel will likely get the traditional Gatorade shower tonight at Levi’s Stadium. We will post the results of the Super Bowl 60 Gatorade color as soon as the electrolytes hit the turf this evening.

What color Gatorade was dumped on the winning coach at the Super Bowl?

We will soon have the Super Bowl Gatorade color results. Be sure to check back here immediately after the game to see which color cashed.

There is so much chaos in the closing minutes and immediate aftermath of the Super Bowl that TV cameras can often miss the Gatorade bath.

This occurred in 2021 when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat the Kansas City Chiefs 31-9 in Super Bowl LV. CBS cameras missed Bucs head coach Bruce Arians getting doused, and there were many minutes of speculation online regarding which color landed on his head.

A video from the stadium went viral shortly after the conclusion of the game, revealing that Arians was drenched in blue Gatorade.

Blue was a favorite heading into this year’s game, as it owned +260 Gatorade color odds. Only orange had shorter odds.

This year’s Super Bowl matchup does not have much background when it comes to Gatorade baths. There is no prior video of Macdonald or Vrabel being hit with a Gatorade bath, as neither has reached the Super Bowl as a head coach before.

Neither was hit with a Gatorade bath in their respective conference championship game this year, either.
