The semifinal round is set for the men's hockey tournament at the 2026 Winter Olympics.

The semifinals will take place in Milan on Feb. 20 with Canada, the United States, Slovakia, and Finland making up the final four. Canada will play Finland at 9:40 a.m. CT, and the U.S. will play Slovakia at 2:10 p.m. CT.
The winner of each semifinal will play in the gold medal game on Feb. 22 (7:10 a.m. CT). The losers will play in the bronze medal game on Feb. 21 (1:40 p.m. CT). All games are televised on NBC's Olympics coverage.
The semifinal round is set after a series of thrilling finishes in the quarterfinal round on Feb. 18.
Top ranked Canada made it to the semifinal after an overtime scare against Czechia. A late goal by Nick Suzuki tied the game, which set up an overtime winner by Mitch Marner to clinch a 4-3 win. They will face Finland, who also needed overtime to make the semifinal round - Finland was down 2-0, then scored twice in the third period before Artturi Lekhonen scored the overtime winner.
Then USA beat Sweden 2-1 on an overtime goal by Quinn Hughes after Sweden tied the game late in the third period. The USA will face Slovakia, who beat Germany 6-2 behind a three-point performance by Pavol Regenda.
Finland won the gold medal in 2022, beating the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) 2-1 in Beijing.
