NFL free agency begins in a couple of weeks, and things will surely get crazy. They always do. The Arizona Cardinals will likely be busy, and a quarterback could be in their sights.

There is plenty of chatter around the possibility of Green Bay Packers backup quarterback Malik Willis as a potential target.
If they do in fact target Willis, it means targeting one of the top free agents available.
In fact, according to NFL.com's Gregg Rosenthal, Willis is the No. 1 available free agent in his rankings of the top 101.
I see him as the most dynamic quarterback in football as a runner, and his tape in Green Bay showed incredible growth as a passer over his two years with Matt LaFleur. Despite his limited sample size, Willis jumped to the top spot of this ranking based on the same logic that applies to the NFL draft: If a potential franchise quarterback is good enough to be ranked in the top five of a list like this, then he should be placed first, by virtue of the position. The ceiling is the roof.
The Cardinals and Willis have connections. General manager Monti Ossenfort was in the Tennessee Titans' front office when they drafted Willis. Willis played for Packers head coach Matt LaFleur, the older brother of new Cardinals head coach Mike LaFleur. Cardinals offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett was on the Green Bay coaching staff last year.
The question is how much he will cost. He has only started six NFL games, so he is a big risk if it will cost more than $30 million a year. However, it could at least be exciting, right?
