Robert Quall is still serving, just at a different court.

"I was a prosecutor for 12 years and a judge for 30," Quall said.
Robert wrapped up his legal career in Merced County Superior Court, and at 67, he went back to the tennis court.
"I was number one in the world two years ago in singles," Quall said. "Now this year, I'm number one in the world in doubles."
Now, at 86 years old, Robert has won 17 Gold Balls, the prize for first place at a national tournament.
He's also been selected to nine masters world cup teams, most recently captaining the U.S. in the 85-and-over division to a Bronze medal.
"This year, the top four are going to Crete, Greece, so I'd like to make the team for at least another year," Quall said.
Ralph is one of Robert's hitting partners -- the two have been keeping each other in shape for almost 25 years.
"He (Robert) always books a round of golf on the same day, so he's playing two to three sports in a single day," Ralph said. "That's what impresses me. Folks can't do that in their 50s, 60s, 40s or even 30s, let alone at his age."
Besides what he says is a "bad habit" of drinking Diet Coke, Quall is in peak health, with no signs of slowing down.
Robert is trying to prove that point one match at a time.
