PHILADELPHIA -- It's normal for people to have hobbies outside of their job--even for NBA players.

Philadelphia 76ers forward Kelly Oubre Jr. got the internet talking when he released some music under the name "T$unami" which is a nickname he has earned in his NBA career. When one goes to his Spotify page, there are some songs that have been released such as "Fast & Furious" and "Blessed" for example.

After Thursday's win over the Miami Heat, Oubre explained his love of music and why he released some in his spare time.

"Well, first off, I'm not a rapper. At all," Oubre deadpanned. "I make beats. It's more so to show the creative side, on the producing side, but it's just fun, man. I don't talk a lot, right? So, when I do stuff like that, it's more so to allow people to get to know me and my interests, and just kind of peel back the layers a little bit."

Oubre is certainly somebody who enjoys art and creation. He enjoys the process of being able to create something and just share his vision with the world. He does have one line in his "Fast & Furious" song about the late Paul Walker that has his teammates talking.

"I mean, my teammates always talk about the Paul Walker line," Oubre continued. "Obviously, it was meant to be funny, so I'm glad everybody picked up on that. It wasn't supposed to be number one on the Billboard charts. It was just something to be funny and fun and just try to have fun with this, but in my downtime, you know, I have computer. I have my home setup and stuff like that. So it's not like I'm doing that on the side of basketball. Basketball is the main priority, and I love my job. I love what I do, but I'm also an artist and a creator."

If it wasn't obvious in the song, Oubre is a big fan of the Fast & Furious movie franchise. He explained that as well when discussing the songs and his love for creation while also clarifying a line.

"I'm a big Fast & Furious guy, for real, for real," he finished. "I love it. I have two GTRs. I got all the fast cars, so except a couple, but keep working for that. But, yeah, man, it's just Paul Walker is the GOAT in the Fast & Furious series. Rest in peace. And just to clarify, I said, I think that I'm Vin Diesel when I’m trying to get abs."
