Fight fans will fight out May 16 as the two battle at a UFC Fight Night event scheduled for Meta APEX in Las Vegas, UFC CEO Dana White announced during a slew of event revelations Thursday.
Allen (20-4 MMA, 11-3 UFC) aims to bounce back from a unanimous decision loss to Jean Silva at UFC 324 in January. The defeat was his third in his most recent four outings. But as has been the story of his entire UFC career, Allen only lost to top-tier talents in Silva, Evloev, and Max Holloway.
Costa (26-7 MMA, 7-2 UFC) broke through in 2025 with four wins that extended his streak to six. His two most recent wins have been his most destructive, bludgeoning Morgan Charriere with a head kick before finishing Dan Ige with a spinning back kick to the face.
