No playoffs saw John Harbaugh somewhat shockingly move on, and now Jesse Minter takes over a franchise desperate for playoff success.
But after a 2025 season that saw Baltimore start 1-5 and play catch-up football, it wasn't great viewing for fans.
Now, with Minter taking charge, star All-Pro Kyle Hamilton delivered a brutal reality check ahead of what is looming as a defining season in Baltimore.
"The standard has not been met and upheld," Hamilton said via The Athletic. "We need to fix that."

Hamilton's comments shed light on Ravens problems
Last season was tough for a host of reasons, mainly due to the injuries the Ravens suffered. Not only that, the players who were on the field, at least in the early part of the year, failed to uphold their end of the bargain.
Yes, Baltimore rallied, going on a five-game winning streak to get to 6-5, but losing four of its last six games cost the franchise a playoff spot and left them with an 8-9 record.
Now with Minter in charge, the hope is that the standards the Ravens have prided themselves on, and let slip according to Hamilton, will be met, and the franchise can have a far better season than they did last year.
