Vonn, 41, was already a terrific story by making a post-knee surgery comeback into competitive skiing. Then, she torn her ACL in a crash days before the Olympics, but confirmed her plans to participate anyway. Given all her circumstances, Vonn faces a significant test in even competing in Milan, let alone finishing with a medal. But she'll be giving it her best shot anyway.
Below, The Sporting News is tracking Vonn's performance at the 2026 Winter Olympics, including any potential medals she claims and her times in the alpine skiing events.

Lindsey Vonn Olympic events schedule
Vonn has announced her plans to compete in three different events, but she can also be considered day-by-day in Milan as she deals with a torn ACL. Depending on what her knee injury allows her to do, she'd first compete in the women's downhill event on Sunday, Feb. 8. Later that week, she would participate in the women's team combined and super-G events.
All of Vonn's Olympic action can be streamed through Peacock — including the women's downhill training sessions on Friday and Saturday, where she likely be testing out her knee before the real event on Sunday. Those training sessions will be exclusively available through streaming on Peacock or NBCOlympics.com.
As for the official women's downhill event, that will air at 9:20 a.m. ET on NBC on Sunday, Feb. 8. Vonn's other two events, team combined and super-G, will air on USA Network on Feb. 10 and Feb. 12.
