The Las Vegas Raiders and wide receiver Jalen Nailor came to an agreement on a three-year, $35 million deal. ESPN's Adam Schefter was the first to report the news of the deal.
PFF provided an analysis of the deal, writing, "Nailor should infuse juice into the Raiders’ receiving corps after producing a 67.1 PFF receiving grade and dropping just one of his 49 targets. However, this is an extremely rich deal for a player who has averaged 1.18 yards per route run in his career."
They projected a one-year, $3.5 million deal for Nailor so the contract he received impacted their thoughts on it.
However, on the field, the Raiders have a solid WR2 for expected top pick Fernando Mendoza. They made it a point to make free agency a splash for them and they achieved it starting with the Nailor signing.
